Description:
In Mobem Alves de Brito project was carried out a retrofit of an existing building to suit the commercial activity, but still keeping the scale of the other houses in the street.
The solution was to create a metal frame W profile, painted black, to organize the new openings and materials building a new facade.
The objective was to use materials in their natural feature, such as steel, brick and perforated metal solar control panels. The transparency of the glass in the building's base, creates a strong bond, desired, between trade and the street. Complementing the program yet, on the upper floor are located two commercial rooms with independent access by a circulation core.
It was also created a side garden linked to one of the ground floor shops, which creates the possibility to integrate the interior with the exterior.
