Description:
The big challenges of this project were the small size of the site and the wish for a diverse program. Taking advantage of available urban indexes of area, the building Residential Alves de Brito was designed with 9 floors – underground garage, ground floor, six type floors and attic. The first type floor is made up of two apartments, which have three open courtyards. The second type floor - garden - has an apartment with a large terrace. The rest of the flooring types have an apartment, with livings with large openings for Alves de Brito Street. Finally, the attic has gourmet lounge and pool for condominium use.
In addition to residential use, the building includes a commercial space for a coffee / bar. This is on the ground and underground, where he designed a courtyard that provides a placeholder, but open to social life. The access to both, the building and for the coffee / bar, are marked with glass footbridge that due to transparency of the material facilitate the integration of the basement with Alves de Brito Street.
