Description:
The Port station belongs to BRT deployment system (Bus Rapid Transit), located at the metropolitan area of Greater Victoria.
It is a project with unique features, because makes up an intervention in a tumbled heritage: the sheds of the Vitória Port. It is believed that with the upgrading of these sheds and use of existing external structure, the area will be more security to the site and will bring a new aspect to the waterfront. It is proposed to use the interior of three sheds, for passing bus and embarking and disembarking of the users. The two extremes sheds intervention, have inside embarking and disembarking platform, ticket office, metal mezzanine for commercial and service use and passage of BRT Buses on both sides. The central shed, has the same activities as the others, but only contains passage of BRT in one side of the platform and includes the support areas - bathrooms, substation, generators, etc.
